KINGSTON, Jamaica – The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) is reporting that a warrant of arrest has been prepared for Omar Collymore following investigations into the death of his wife, Simone Campbell-Collymore and taxi operator Winston Walters.

According to reports, on January 2, Campbell-Collymore was travelling in a taxi on Stanely Terrace in Red Hills, St Andrew, when gunmen opened fire, hitting her and the driver of the taxi, Walters.

The JCF, on social media site Twitter, said Collymore is being asked to report immediately to either the Constant Spring CIB, the Major Investigations Division or the Criminal Investigations Branch Headquarters at 2 Oxford Road, Kingston 5.

Last month, Collymore and another man were shot and injured by a gunman shortly after they drove onto the premises of the Allied Insurance Brokers on Belmont Road in Kingston.

It is believed that Collymore was on location to deal with insurance matters related to the death of his wife.
