May Pen Hospital accepting emergency cases only

CLARENDON, Jamaica — The May Pen Hospital in Clarendon said that as of tomorrow it will only be accepting emergency cases, and as such, persons are being encouraged to use other health facilitates within the parish.

This, the hospital said, is to facilitate air conditioning duct work and also the installation of a fresh air unit in the accident and emergency department.

The hospital said normal operations will resume on Monday at 8:00am.

The management of the hospital at the same time issued an apology to members of the public for the inconvenience that may arise and crave the understanding of clients as they seek to enhance service delivery and ensure the continued safety of clients and staff.
