Eight people homeless after May Pen fire
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The police have confirmed that eight people are now homeless after a blaze engulfed a seven bedroom dwelling in May Pen, Clarendon this morning.
Reports are that around 2:30 am, residents in the community known as ‘Ghetto’ on Windsor Avenue in the parish, where alerted by the smell of smoke and subsequent gun fire and summoned the fire brigade and the police.
Police said no one was hurt in the incident.
