Real Madrid seek a change of fortune

…while JustBet has Liverpool at $2.02 to beat high riding Arsenal

Tomorrow Saturday, November 3 and Sunday, November 4, football stadia across Europe will be fully ‘lit’ as some mouth-watering match-ups awaits fans.

European champions Real Madrid are in dire need of a win to lift the gloom that has engulfed the Bernabeu and they will have a difficult task getting past the high-flying Valladolid.

In England, sparks are set to fly at the Emirates as the irrepressible Liverpool team try to stop a super exciting Arsenal, a team that has won 11 of their last 12 games on the bounce, with utmost ease.

European champions Real Madrid look to move away from the crisis they are currently experiencing when they host high-flying Valladolid, looking for their first win in six games and despite the contrasting forms of both teams, Madrid must win if they are to harbour any thoughts of La Liga glory.

Few, if anyone would have imagined that after 10 rounds of matches, Real Madrid would be three places behind the newly-promoted Valladolid in the standing. Amazingly, the last five games have seen Valladolid picking up a whopping 13 points while Madrid have scraped just one. Those results have seen Coach Julen Lopetegui unsurprisingly fired.

Cristiano Ronaldo is sorely missed by Madrid as the goals have dried up with the current strikers unable to fill his boots. Los Blancos will be eager to bounce back from the heartbreaking 5-1 battering at the feet of Barcelona in the Clasico with a massive win in this game. The last time both teams met, Valladolid held Madrid to a 1-1 draw in 2014, allowing city rivals Atletico to go on and lift the famous la Liga title. This fixture tends to produce goals galore with 29 being scored in the last six head-to-head meetings.

The betting tip! Madrid to win.

The JustBet odds on the match are published to the right of page:

Now we switch our attention to London for our second match on Saturday at 12:30 local time. A blockbuster game awaits fans as the undefeated Liverpool takes on an Arsenal side that is bursting with confidence.

Both teams Premier League title credentials will be given another examination as they battle to wrestle the title out of the hands of Man City. The Gunners failed their first tests of the season against Manchester City and Chelsea but a run of form that saw them win 11 of their next 12 games. This has seen talk of a title challenge remerge but that progress could be undone if they fail to beat Liverpool.

Arsenal versus Liverpool is always one of English football’s biggest matches with its history of cup finals and title winning goals.

Now, its Liverpool who have a realistic chance of winning the crown. Three points at the Emirates against Arsenal’s will go some way to confirm the Reds title hopes.

Arsenal’s 11-match win streak ended at Crystal Palace with more defensive laxness at its heart. It highlighted, once again, the Gunners trait of not starting games well and closing them out.

Liverpool, unbeaten in 10 games, have been winning and closing out games with ease, a far cry from the nervy team of three seasons ago. Recently games between these two sides have seen plenty, of goals with 27 flying in from their last five meetings. Arsenal have won each of their last four home games since their opening-day defeat to Man City.

The betting tip! Over 2.5 goals in the game.
