Montego Bay United c oach Vassell Reynolds left former Red Stripe Premier League champions Arnett Gardens FC cursing their luck after his youthful team resisted their best efforts and walked away with a well earned 0-0 draw at the Anthony Spaulding Sports Complex on Monday night.

Arnett Gardens entered the game needing to win to get back into fourth place but the youthful Montego Bay United aim was not to leave Kingston empty-handed.

The hosts created innumerable chances to take full points and send the visitors on their way licking their wounds, but alas, poor finishing was a major factor, aided and abetted by some sterling goalkeeping from the visitors’ custodian Aian Miller.

Miller was faultless in goal and made two particularly astounding point-blank saves — one in each half — to keep his team in the game to the end.

Those showpiece saves, along with some resourceful rearguard action from his teammates, helped Montego Bay United ride their luck to come away with a share of the points.

Arnett Gardens themselves were major contributors to their downfall after missing the goal with some injudicious finishing.
