BIGDADDYKOOL represents the key for trainer Anthony Nunes in his quest to be crowned champion trainer.

After a dodgy season thus far, mainly due to injuries which required a long rest, Bigdaddykool came back recently in the nine furlongs and 25 yards (1820 metres) Nigel Nunes Memorial Cup and showed that he is sound and still packed with a lot of class.

The return of Bigdaddykool could not have come at a better time for Nunes as victory in tomorrow’s Burger King Superstakes will go a long way in fulfilling his dream of becoming champion trainer.

Since that win in the Nigel Nunes, Bigdaddykool has maintained a strong presence at morning exercise with some eye-catching gallops, to confirm his readiness for the Superstakes.

Further, the Diamond Mile is less than a month away (December 1) and having placed second in the last two running of the event, Bigdaddykool is regarded as one of the leading contenders for this year’s renewal.

How is Bigdaddykool shaping up for the Superstakes?

“Well he is doing fine — so far, so good. He came out of the Nigel Nunes without any complaints, so that is very good news and I am quite happy with that. Bigdaddykool has been doing quite well in the mornings and recently breezed 58 seconds for five furlongs and the hope now is that he keeps on this track”, Nunes reported.
