Spice makes green statement at the BET Hip Hop Awards

The BET Hip Hop Awards was in full effects on the

weekend and the fashionistas were out.

Dancehall artiste Spice rocked the green carpet in a full green jumpsuit with a matching green hijab. And, in true Spice fashion, the ‘Queen of Stage’ also got social media users talking, both positively and negatively.

“Spice look like she come straight out of JLP,” one

social media user said.

However, her fans were quick to shut down the ‘haters’,

instead suggesting that their artiste is representing “money”.

The Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta star was not in

attendance to collect or announce an award, but she surely dominated the carpet

in her green fit.

Spice was not the only representative for dancehall,

as ladies’ man Dexta Daps was spotted in a photo with the Cool It

deejay. He wore a black outfit and paired it with dark sunglasses.

The BET Hip Hop Awards was held on Saturday, October 5, at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center in Atlanta. It will be aired on Tuesday, October 8, at 8 p.m. on BET. It was hosted by Lil Duval, and there were performances from acts like Megan Thee Stallion and Dababy, T-Pain and Rick Ross.
