STETHS, Garvey, BB Coke, Manchester progress in Ben Francis Cup

The semifinalists of the rural area ISSA/Wata Ben Francis Cup schoolboy knockout football competition were decided after Wednesday’s quarterfinal matches.

They are former champions St Elizabeth Technical High School (STETHS) and Garvey Maceo, as well as BB Coke and Manchester.

STETHS

rallied from being a goal behind to level their encounter against Manning’s

School and then winning 5-4 on penalties at Frome Sports Complex.

At

Drax Hall, Garvey Maceo defeated Port Antonio 2-1, the identical score that

Manchester had over Frome Technical at STETHS, while BB Coke clipped Anchovy

1-0 at Manchester.

The

semifinals will be played next Thursday at venues to be decided by ISSA.
