IPP stages annual bazaar
International Proxy Parents (IPP) staged its annual bazaar at Jamaica Pegasus hotel in New Kingston last Saturday.
The event is used to raise funds for scholarships to selected students, with a proven track record of excellence but who are in dire financial need, primarily at non-traditional high schools islandwide.
The bazaar is a collaboration between IPP, the diplomatic community, corporate Jamaica, and local providers of goods and services to create a vibrant cultural atmosphere with art, craft, food, dance and other cultural activities.
Among the countries that participated in this year’s event are Russia, United Kingdom, Mexico, Spain, South Africa, Nigeria, Japan, Barbados, and Trinidad and Tobago.
