Clean up dancehall
Dear Editor,
Dancehall entertainment is one of the biggest forms of indiscipline in Jamaica. It’s like a nursery bed for all other forms of lewd music and dirty lyrics in Jamaica.
Too often whenever people have their stage shows, big or small, they carry on very disgracefully.
Some deejays and entertainers use foul language and behave like raging bulls.
It is now a standard feature for men to wear their pants below their bottoms while doing what seems like some crazy sexual demonstrations with willing females.
The women are referred to as gyals and there are crude discussions about her private parts.
And some of the female entertainers are just as bad, because they, too, use the most dirty words and are skimpily clad.
Dancehall music and entertainment need cleaning up. The whole fraternity ought to take the blame for all the filthiness.
Weed out all the bad eggs from dancehall and make it good. As it is contaminating the society and has an impact on the rise in crime.
Jamaica is overwhelmed with a strong dose of dirty music and a high level of indiscipline. We need to clean up dancehall.
