Montego Bay Examination Depot to reopen today
ST JAMES, Jamaica — The Montego Bay Examination Depot is scheduled to reopen to the public today after being closed following the confirmation of positive cases of COVID-19 at the location.
The Island Traffic Authority (ITA) says the facility is now safe to reopen for business following deep cleaning and sanitisation exercises. The authority noted that during the closure, individuals with scheduled appointments and urgent business were redirected to the head office or nearest depot.
The authority expressed its gratitude to members of the public for their understanding and cooperating with the changes during the period.
The ITA also encouraged people to exercise caution and follow the protocols established for the prevention of the spread of COVID-19.
