Disneyland to reopen in April
One of the happiest places in the world will be reopening next
month.
Disneyland has announced that it will reopen at the end of April
after it came to a standstill amid the pandemic.
Disneyland Resort President Ken Potrock said in a statement, “The
day all of us have long been waiting for is almost here. We’re excited to have
more than 10,000 cast members returning to work as we get ready to welcome our
guests back to this happy place.”
The park will be allowed to open at 15 per cent capacity but
only with residents of California. Visitors will be limited to groups of no
more than 10 people from no more than three households. Indoor dining will not
be allowed and tickets must be bought in advance online.
The state recently stated theme parks can reopen beginning April
1 once the counties they operate in enter the red tier of its reopening plan. They
Disneyland has been closed since March 2020.
