Natural Bond Entertainment breaks into new markets
Reggae and dancehall music production house Natural Bond Entertainment is reporting success in non-traditional music markets.
For the period May 16 to May 29, the Spotify streams of some of the label’s releases experienced an uptick in consumption.
Among them are Memories by Masicka, Bad Rider (Jahvillani); Who You and Young Rich (Teejay); Guide My Path (Deeclef, Deep Jahi, and Buffalo Souljah); Life Still Well (Bugle); and Nude (Ikaya).
“The hard work that we have put in as it relates to marketing and promotion is slowly paying dividends for us at Natural Bond. We continue to promote our music in territories outside of Jamaica, as this will further strengthen brand Jamaica and showcase the up-and-coming talent and established artistes that the label has been working with,” Jerome Elvie, label boss, told the Jamaica Observer.
Among the countries that the Spotify streams have seen significant action are the United States, the United Kingdom, Russia, Germany, Canada, France, Italy and the Netherlands.
Natural Bond’s most recent project is the Comet rhythm. It was released on May 21 and features Young Rich (Teejay), Nude (Ikaya), Spring Break (Knaxx), and Constancy Vol 2 (Deeclef).
