Live Escapade for Port Royal
Caribcast, the South Florida streaming service operated by Jamaican Tyrone Robertson, acknowledges its Diaspora support this weekend with the Live Escapade party in Port Royal.
On Saturday, activities begin at Grand Hotel Excelsior (formerly Morgan’s Harbour Hotel) at 2:00 pm. This event features Caribcast disc jockeys, DJ Radcliffe, DJ Mello G, DJ Dorenzo, Omar C, DJ Ricky, Duke Bebonair, DJ Eva, and DJ Tempo.
Activities continue in the historic town at noon on Sunday with Y-ND Down @ Y-KNOT Bar & Grill.
Robertson, who started Caribcast in 2005, expects a strong turnout of diehard fans from the United States and Canada. They tune in weekly for shows like Mixed Up Moods & Attitudes, Bacchanal Wednesdays, The Art of Soul, Road Block, Saturday Sessions, Praise & Soul, and Sunday Hangova.
“In addition to our scheduled shows, we also feature curated radio and TV channels which are available live and on demand,” said Robertson.
The Kingston-born businessman launched Caribcast as a Caribbean News and Entertainment Digital Signage Network, with screens installed at popular South Florida outlets and restaurants.
It has evolved into an ad-supported and subscription-based streaming service with strong Diaspora support in the US and Canada.
