MONTEGO BAY, St James — Former champions Catherine Hall Primary and Corinaldi Avenue Primary will meet in a crucial top-of-the-tables Zone D game in the St James Football Association Under-13 competition at Corinaldi Avenue today, starting at 10:00 am.

Both teams are unbeaten so far, Catherine Hall winning all three games to lead with nine points followed by Corinaldi Avenue who have won both of their games played.

A win for Catherine Hall would secure Zone honours against Corinaldi Avenue who have a massive 25 goal difference and would have the edge if the game ends in a draw or they win, to tie up the lead on points.

In the other game today, Montego Bay Prep and Dumfries Primary will both be seeking their first points.

Montego Bay Prep have lost both of their games played so far while Dumfries lost their only game played.

The first round of the competition is slated to end next week and the race for the two spots from each of the four zones is expected to intensify.

Flankers Primary and Lethe All-Age are first and second, respectively, in Zone A; Chetwood Primary leads Zone B ahead of Irwin Primary while Barracks Road Primary leads Zone C, with three other schools tied on three points each.
