Gas prices down $0.25, diesel up $3.00
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see a decrease at the pumps in the price of gasoline and an increase in the price of diesel, effective Thursday, July 21, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
With both grades of gasoline down by $0.25, 87-octane gasoline will be sold for $214.39 per litre and 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $219.41 per litre.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $229.76 per litre after an increase of $3.00, while ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $232.50 per litre also up by $3.00.
Kerosene also increased in price by $3.00 and will be sold for $204.05 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $66.94 per litre down by $3.00 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $75.31 per litre after a decrease of $3.00.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
