Theo Goodness is on a mission
SINGER Theo Goodness is on a musical mission to spread the message of love and positivity through his music.
His passion for music developed as a youngster attending church, before he decided to pursue music professionally.
“I started out singing as a youth while attending the Simon Baptist Church in Simon District, Clarendon. Singing was a regular thing for me on Sundays and years later I joined the choir at Grace Baptist Church in May Pen,” recalled Theo Goodness.
“My musical journey had to be placed on hold as life experience took me in a different direction, but the desire for it has never left me. Now, I am fulfilling that burning desire,” he continued.
His most recent single is Andrea, released in October last year.
“Andrea came about from a real life experience. I did the production on my labelOne Four Six Records.
In 2012 Theo Goodness got his break with Blessed Assurance on the Mun Mun Recording label. It was produced by Emanuel Davis.
He is preparing to release Soon and Very Soon featuring Hot Rod, the nephew of the legendary Toots Hibbert.
“My aim is to not chase the hype but to create music that will live on forever. My audience is the type of people that want to hear clean music which doesn’t involve any form of criminality or vulgarism,” emphasised Theo Goodness.
