A field of nine sprinters is lined up for competition in a three-year-old and upwards Overnight Allowance call on the round course at the minimum run of 5 furlongs (1,000m), tomorrow (Saturday, Sepetember 3, 2022) at Caymanas Park.

These runners are analysed below.

1. EMPEROROFTHECATS: (3 b g by Emperor Hall – Laws Of The Cat) – Did well in his first race at this level on August 20. Then Emperorofthecats finished third behind Race Car and Eagle One over 6 furlongs (1,200m). Emperorofthecats now faces weaker opposition and is highly favoured to return to winning ways. Of note, Emperorofthecats is the only three-year-old in this contest. He will have to come from off the pace as Capturemyship is the dominant speed.

2. EL PROFESOR: (7 b g by Casual Trick – The Principal) – Showed little in his last two starts. El Profesor was far more competitive prior when finishing second to Curlin’s Affair over this distance on July 23. El Profesor could run another pleasing race once again but is difficult to follow because of his inconsistency.

3. CAPTUREMYSHIP: (8 b h by Adore The Gold – Maken Joy) – Always does well over the straight but can produce good efforts on the round course. In this quick dash, Capturemyship is going to play catch me if can, given his known speed. Note, his last four races have been over the straight course.

4. SUPER DUPER: (4 b f Natural Selection – Patara) – Did well to reach this level but a win for the first time at the Overnight Allowance grouping is not on the cards for Super Duper.

5. DUNROBIN: (9 b g by Blue Pepsi Lodge – En Vogue) – Based on current form, Dunrobin can be safely bypassed.

6. ALEXA’S LODGE: (5 ch m by Blue Pepsi Lodge – Alexa’s Song) – Has no form to recommend.

7. BATON ROUGE: (4 b g by Natural Selection – Little Wasp) – Cannot get a winning vote.

8. KAY BOY: (5 ch h by Rising Moon – Amicable) – Ran no race in high claiming on last and that profile is going to remain the same.

9. GENERATIONAL: (5 ch g by Fearless Vision – Electrifying) – Consistent runner at this level. Generational is a seasoned campaigner, who can mix it up with the best at this level. Generational has the ability to stay off the pace but will be close enough for a final push in the straight.
