UPDATE: Leaders gather for community walk-through in Greenvale following string of murders

MANCHESTER, Jamaica— Member of Parliament for Manchester North Western, Mikael Phillips, and Head of the Manchester Police, Superintendent Shane McCalla, are among leaders now in Greenvale in the parish for a walkthrough.

Greenvale has been tense following a spate of murders and shootings in the community, the latest occurring on Thursday morning.

Forty-year-old David Junior Reid, a bar owner in the community was gunned down about 6:30 am.
