Contact lenses as phone screens soon
The day is coming when your contact lenses will become your phone screen.
The company behind this vision (no pun intended) is Mojo Vision, which had to develop its chemical and plastic components to allow an eyeball to breathe through an electronic lens.
The lens gives the wearer a great sense of movement since they can move the cursor with their eyes. The lens also has many demo applications and helps users with navigation by producing different arrows. Apart from displaying directions, the lens also shows other daily life metrics such as cycling speed, weather, etc.
Mojo Vision is also working on a lens for visually impaired people that shows glowing digital edges overlaid on objects to make it easier to see them. It’s also testing phone apps for a new hand-free activity display.
