Etana to headline St James 2022 Municipal Christmas Tree lighting ceremony

ST JAMES, Jamaica – The St James Municipal Corporation in continuing its staging of the parish’s annual Christmas Tree lighting ceremony intends to gift the events patrons a fun-filled programme to include performances by Grammy Nominee Etana.

The Municipal Christmas Tree lighting ceremony is to be held next Wednesday at the Harmony Beach Park, Howard Cooke Boulevard, Montego Bay, commencing at 5:00 pm.

Among the performers at the concert are the Montego Bay New Testament Church Choir, International Youth Fellowship, Lilliput SDA Praise Team, Faith Temple Assemblies of God Choir, Sudania B, Javid Wilson, Tammi T and Etana, with Bryan Bowen as MC.

Mayor of Montego Bay, Councillor Leeroy Williams, will be joined by Custos of St James, Bishop Conrad Pitkin, as well as councillors and sponsoring companies’ representatives.

Sponsors of the 2022 Municipal Christmas Tree lighting ceremony include New Fortress Energy, The Urban Development Corporation, Digicel, Harmony Beach Park, Sandals Resorts International, Kris N Charles, Fontana Pharmacy, Oneness Health Centre and John Swaby Entertainment.

Added attractions will include entertainment from the Johnkonoo group, Stilt Walkers, and Santa.
