UPDATE: Police hold two suspects in Portland murders
PORTLAND, Jamaica – The Portland police are reporting that two suspects are in custody in relation to two murders in the Port Antonio area within twelve hours between Friday night and Saturday morning.
Calvin James, 55, also known as ‘Jeggy’ of Ganja Gully, Boundbrook, in Port Antonio, was reportedly stabbed in the abdomen after an argument developed at a shop in Halls Avenue on Friday.
Later on Saturday morning, Salmon, who sleeps in the yard of the Friends Church on Smatt Road in Port Antonio, was found lying at the front of the building in a pool of blood with his head bashed in and a large stone beside his body.

OBSERVER ONLINE understands that the suspect held in Salmon’s murder may have been involved in two other murders of street people in the Port Antonio area.
