Tifa to release new song after Grammy success
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Dancehall artiste Latifa ‘Tifa’ Brown is set to release a new song entitled ‘Wicked Gyal’ this Friday, this after enjoying a feature on Kabaka Pyramid’s Grammy-winning reggae album ‘The Kalling.’
The ‘Spell it Out’ and ‘Jealous Ova’ artiste also made history this week as the first female dancehall artiste to make a formal address at an American university.
Tifa made her presentation on her life, journey, music business and law at the prestigious Sheppard Broad College of Law at Nova Southeastern University in Florida.
Brown addressed the law students in the presence of law professor Ken Lewis, Esq, dean and former dean of the faculty and Marlon Farquharson of Visions Entertainment. The dancehall artiste was given a standing ovation at the end of her presentation.
In an Instagram post Tifa vows she will “dropping anthems all year” to the great delight of her fans.
The track is heightened with a single and video release party in Lakeworth, Florida at the Bamboo Room Gardens on the day of its release with full band performance.
The song was produced by LMR Productions, The Khxos and Shakespeare Productions.
