The party, held at The Lodge at Hope Zoo, attracted music stalwarts like Ernie Smith and Dean Fraser. Bennett’s extended family — some of whom jetted in from overseas — were also on hand to celebrate the milestone event. Among them were his niece, Los Angeles-based producer Sydney “Syd” Bennett, and nephew Travis Bennett, who plays Omar in the new Netflix hit film You People.
