Brandon Ferguson continues to make his mark on the insurance industry.

As his journey continues, he looks to his next chapter of life with the expansion of his own boutique firm — The Insurance Suite — specialising in providing insurance and financial solutions.

“I wanted to provide a more personalised experience for all my clients where products and solutions are tailored to meet the needs of the clients. These could come in the form of mortgages, life savings plans, and investment plans for all ages and socio-economic groups,” remarked Ferguson.

“Life is unpredictable, and more often than not, people are faced with unexpected circumstances, so preparation is key. My ultimate goal is to enrich people’s lives,” Ferguson added.

He started out as a financial advisor at Sagicor Life in May 2010, giving advice on insurance and investment products. His dynamic, warm personality and trusting demeanour are what have attracted multiple clients from all walks of life over the years.

Ferguson’s 13 years at Sagicor have been decorated with success. His accomplishments include the Rookie-of-the-Year for the Corporate Circle Branch in 2011. He is also a six-time Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) Qualifier, three-time Court of the Table Qualifier, Top Investment Advisor for 2020, and three times Agent of the Year for the Corporate Circle branch.

In November 2021, Ferguson joined New York Life as an established Agent. This provided an opportunity for him to offer US citizens US-dollar life insurance products. In January 2022, he opened his own practice: The Insurance Suite, offering both Sagicor and New York Life products.

This year, Ferguson has decided to do what he does best — expand. He is now affiliated with Lawe Insurance Brokers, where he can now provide US-dollar policies to locals through Lloyd’s of London, AmFirst, and Sagicor Cayman to Jamaican nationals and international clients.

Ferguson lit up when he spoke about educating others regardless of whether or not they are his clients, “I am passionate about financial literacy and, as such, I’ve made it my duty to educate and advise people about whole life planning and finances. Once someone seeks guidance, I am more than willing to assist.”

The Insurance Suite offers life, health, and critical illness insurance as well as pension and educational plans. These can be in either Jamaican dollar or US dollar.

“Over this 13-year journey, I have learnt the value of gratitude. I am thankful for my clients and for those who have encouraged me along the way. And as I transition, I want to show people that there is more to offer in the insurance market,” Ferguson expressed.

“Everyone, no matter who you are or where you come from, should be able to have access to practical financial solutions which secure not only your present but you and your children’s future,” he added.
