Man charged following shooting incident on St Thomas main road
ST THOMAS, Jamaica- A man has been charged for being armed with a prohibited weapon and possession of prohibited ammunition in connection with an incident that occurred on December 29, 2022.
Charged is Roberto Green, 24, a labourer of Victoria Avenue in Kingston.
Reports are that about 6:45 am, two men were standing on a section of the St Thomas main road when a motor car drove up.
It is alleged that Green and other men, who were aboard the vehicle, opened gunfire hitting both men.
The injured individuals were chased and again shot at. Green and his accomplices then made good their escape.
Both victims were subsequently assisted to the Kingston Public Hospital, where they were admitted in stable condition.
Investigations continue.
