St Catherine wanted man among five held for firearm
ST ANN, Jamaica – Five men, including a St Catherine wanted man, have been taken into custody following the seizure of a firearm and several rounds of ammunition at Pear Tree Bottom, Runaway Bay in St Ann on Tuesday.
Reports from the St Ann’s Bay Police are that about 5:35 am, a team of officers conducted a targeted operation in the area, where several premises were searched.
Twenty-three-year-old Kevin Fletcher, otherwise called ‘Tippy’ of Linstead, St Catherine, who was featured on the Jamaica Constabulary Force’s Wanted Wednesday campaign, was allegedly found in possession of a 9mm pistol with a magazine containing three rounds.
He was taken into custody along with four other suspects.
The identities of the four other suspects are being withheld pending further investigations.
