GABBY’S STEPS

Prep: Before applying make-up, it is important to prep the skin using a water-based moisturiser. I love Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré.

Primer: Alcone Stop The Sweat

Foundation: NARS Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation — Tahoe

Highlight & Contour: Highlight with NARS foundation shade 2 – 3 shades lighter than foundation shade (Barcelona) and contour with a shade 2-3 shades darker than foundation (Macao)

Powder: Once all cream products have been applied and blended, I like to use the Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder to set the entire face

Blush & Highlight: For a flush of colour on the cheeks, I used Tulip from the Playing in Makeup with Yolondo Bloom Blush Palette on the apples, then followed with MAC Mineralize Skinfinish – Gold Deposit on the high points of the page.

Brows: After completing the skin, I create hair-like strokes with the Absolute New York Brow Pencil then set them into place with the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Freeze.

Eyes: Juvia’s Place Warrior Palette (shade – Kano)

Morphe James Charles Palette (shades – Bee & Brother)

Gems: The-Ben Nye Spirit Glue ensures gems stay put through sweat and rain.

Lips: Line lips with MAC Lip Pencil in the shade Chestnut, blend inwards, and follow up with a pink gloss – Gabby Glam Lip Gloss – Blessed.

Setting spray: After putting this beautiful look together it’s important to set the make-up so that it lasts throughout the day. For Carnival, I like to use the Kryolan Fixing Spray.
