Carnival tempo!
Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston remained busy on Friday as travellers continued arriving in the island for Carnival 2023 which, after Saturday night’s J’Ouvert celebrations, will climax on Sunday with the much-anticipated road march through the streets of the capital city.
Promoters Xodus Carnival and Bacchanal Jamaica have combined resources and best practices to deliver what they promise will be the biggest success of the annual event which was being promoted at the airport with costumed revellers, stilt walkers (also known as Moko Jumbies) and a steelband.
