ISSA Girls basketball semis start today

ST JAMES, Jamaica- Herbert Morrison Technical will take a perfect win record against Irwin High while hosting Tuesday afternoon’s ISSA Western Conference Girls Open Basketball semi-finals at 3:00 pm in St James.

Herbert Morrison topped the regular season standings with 20 points after winning all 10 games while Irwin High, who are in their first season in the competition, were fourth with 14 points.

The second semi-final is set for Wednesday, between Holland High and Mt Alvernia High at Holland with the winners of both games set to meet in the final on Friday at the Montego Bay Cricket Club.

Holland High are in second place with 17 points, one more than Mt Alvernia High’s 16 points.
