Fairy Hill residents protest poor road condition, no water

PORTLAND, Jamaica – The residents of Fairy Hill in Portland blocked the main road from about 5:00 on Monday, in protest of the poor road condition and lack of water for the last three weeks.

OBSERVER ONLINE understands that some motorists tried to use an alternate route, however that road was later blocked as well.

The road was later cleared on one side, and a heavy contingency of police is now on site.
