Two hospitalised following Manchester bar shooting
MANCHESTER, Jamaica— Two people have been hospitalised following a gun attack at a bar in New Green, Manchester on Saturday night.
A police report said shortly before 9:00 pm, the two people, a man and a woman, were among patrons at the bar in New Green square when a gunman pounced and opened fire hitting them.
It is reported that the victims sustained gunshot wounds to their upper body.
The police were alerted and the injured people rushed to hospital where they have been admitted in serious but stable condition.
Earlier this year, on March 3, a cook shop operator, Catherine Matthews, was shot and killed and her husband injured when gunmen opened fire on the couple in New Green.
