Two guns, ammo found under mattress in St James

ST JAMES, Jamaica – A police operation in Retirement district, St James led to the seizure of two Remington shotguns and several rounds of ammunition on Thursday.

No arrest was made in connection with the find.

Reports are that during the operation that was conducted between 10:15 am and 12:15 pm, an open lot was searched in which the weapons and ammunition were found inside a garbage bag under a mattress.

Two Remington shotguns along with seventeen 12-guage cartridges were seized.

Investigation continues.
