Chronic Law, Jah Vinci, Laden, Jahshii meet on Heaven Gates
Dancehall heavyweights Chronic Law, Jah Vinci, Laden, and Jahshii pour their emotions on Heaven Gates rhythm.
Eastern Entertainment Promotions, known for hosting top-tier events, debuted its first-ever various artistes compilation recently.
The infectious rhythm features exceptional songs from the new-day artistes, along with up-and-coming acts Black Fyah, ReniGad, Shaq Star & Don Tempo, Tandre, Xout Boss, Boujie Don, Krish Fullforce, and Hot Turbine, who showed growth in their delivery and message.
Rayon Thompson, producer and CEO of Eastern Entertainment Promotions, shared with the Jamaica Observer, “As a promoter you genuinely have a love for music when you’re promoting events, and I think it was just a matter a time before the team ventured into producing music. Over the years of booking artistes for our events, such as Eastern Extravaganza, Oops!, Brunch In The Arena, and Family, just to name a few, we have developed a close relationship with most artistes if not all that we have worked with whether directly or indirectly.”
Heaven Gates compilation was built and mixed by renowned producer Baby G along with popular producer Spider.
In an interview with Baby G he told the Observer: “Heaven Gates is different; it’s not a one one-drop rhythm, it is a dancehall beat with a hip hop fusion with drums. We made the beat with a slow tempo to gain more clarity from the artistes.”
The Eastern Entertainment Promotions CEO also shared that, while the stable is focused on promoting its debut compilation, plans are in full gear for the 9th staging of Eastern Extravaganza to be held at the Mountain View Oval (across from Excelsior High School) on January 1, 2024.
