On Tuesday, December 12 regional cybersecurity firm CyberEYE Caribbean executed its official launch event and summit held at the AC Hotel in Kingston.

Powered by the theme ‘Existential 2023 – Protecting Jamaica’s businesses from increasing global cyber threats’, the event, which featured a range of insightful discussions, was attended by a number of local cyber and IT experts, who also used the opportunity to welcome the start of operations by the Caribbean company on local soil. The event, in bringing together over 150 industry experts, government officials and other members from academia and the business community, focused heavily on the need to strengthen cybersecurity in the region.

Business Social has snapshots from the event.

Karla Stephens-Hall, chief financial officer of Progressive Grocers Jamaica, takes notes during a presentation from one of the speakers at CyberEYE launch and summit held on December 12.
Master of ceremonies and media personality Debbie Bissoon ably led the proceedings at CyberEYE Caribbean Group launch of its Jamaica operations and cybersecurity summit on Tuesday.
Zachary Harding, executive chairman and founder of Delta Capital Partners, seen here smiling after receiving a gift from event organisers. Sharing in the moment is Ronallie Sirju, consultant for CyberEYE Caribbean.
An attentive audience is captured by the panel discussions on cybersecurity onstage. They account for a section of the over 150 guests in attendance at CyberEYE Caribbean’s Jamaica launch and summit held this week at the AC Hotel in Kingston.
