2023 Social House winner to host podcast
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Ton Travels, winner of The Social House Season 2 is set to host a brand new podcast where guests share real life stories while sipping cocktails.
Dubbed the Happy Hour, the new show is the brainchild of The Social House organisers and is sponsored by Smirnoff.
“This isn’t just a podcast; it’s an electrifying cocktail of humour, mixology, and genuine, real-life interviews that will keep you hooked from the first sip to the last drop,” organisers said in a release Thursday.
The Happy Hour will introduce a segment called “In The Mix,” where viewers and listeners will be exposed to unique recipes as bartender Brian Broderick crafts cocktails on the set.
“Picture a virtual hangout with your coolest friends, led by Ton Travels now dubbed Ton Talks as your companion, weaving through topics with the finesse of a master storyteller,” the release said.
In the debut episode set to premiere today at 7 pm, The Happy Hour will dive into the serious issue of cyberbullying, where Ton Travels will share a viral experience with TikToker Ganja Clauze, revealing a journey of resilience and reconciliation after navigating through a challenging situation, according to the release.
“It’s a glimpse into the podcast’s commitment to addressing real-world topics with authenticity and a touch of humour,” the release stated.
The Happy Hour is set to feature a number of guests, including entertainers, young professionals, and fellow podcasters, organisers said.
