KINGSTON, Jamaica – Dancehall artiste Valiant is now a part of the Sony Music UK family. He joins Koffee, as the other Jamaican act currently signed to the British arm of Sony Music Entertainment.

In a post on its official Instagram page, Sony Music UK confirmed its association with the deejay with a congratulatory note on his MOBO Award nomination.

“Congratulations to all our @MOBOAwards nominees. Central Cee – Best Male Act, Best Drill Act, Headie One – Best Drill Act, Strandz – Best Newcomer, Doja Cat – Best International Act, Travis Scott – Best International Scott, Valiant – Best Caribbean Music Act,” the post read.

On December 18, Valiant’s EP A Gift From Me to You, was released by Sony Music UK under licence from Valiant/Diplomats.

The six-song EP features the songs Polygamy, Search, BUDDUM, Heart Attack, Birkin, and Set Fi Mi.

Some of the other major acts signed to Sony Music UK include Libianca, SZA, Tyla, 21 Savage, DaVido, Wizkid, H.E.R. and Victoria Monet.

Born Raheem Bowes and hailing from rural St Andrew, Valiant exploded onto the music scene in late 2022.

Among his major hit songs are Expensive, Mad Out, Speed Off and North Carolina.
