Cambridge United beat Boys Club in Sandals Major League
ST JAMES, Jamaica— Cambridge United earned a measure of revenge against Montego Bay Boys Club after beating them 3-0 in their return round of the St James Football Association/Sandals Resorts International Major League Zone B game at the UDC field on Sunday.
Boys Club were awarded points from their first round game against Cambridge United after they had failed to provide adequate security for their game at Cambridge High School.
The win saw Cambridge United improve to nine points and move into second place behind leaders Reggae Youths who won all four first round games and are on 12 points.
Reggae Youths could be awarded points for their game against Irwin FC who were unable to field a team for their game.
On Sunday, Anthony France scored a late double to lead Cambridge United to their third win, scoring in the 76th and 79th minutes after Wade Daley had given them the lead in the fourth minute.
