Kitson Town gears up for return of gospel fest
The much-anticipated Kitson Town Gospel Festival, organised by Hummingbird Charities, is all set for Kitson Town Primary School on Tuesday, February 13.
This annual event has become a beacon of unity and celebration, bringing together the community through a shared expression of faith.
This year’s festival promises an evening filled with soul-stirring performances by Kevin Downsell, John Mark Wiggan, Nicholet Brown, and Rian Davis.
Additional performances will be delivered by Albert Archer, Lamar Cooper, Orlando Bramwell, Jerry Swaby, Crystal Maye, Sueshawna, Ketano, and Minister Howdy.
Gospel sensation John Mark Wiggan, who wowed the Kitson Town audience last year, shared his excitement for the upcoming festival.
“It was an honour being introduced to the people of Kitson Town last year… it was a warm welcome. And now, with the album being released, there’s so much more that I’m ready to give them and to celebrate with them so we can worship God in a brand new way together,” he expressed.
Wiggan, who will be performing songs from his latest album, Validation, released last year, indicated his commitment to spreading a message of affirmation through his music.
“I’m still carrying the Validation message and theme, affirming people by way of using the word of God, telling them who they are and who He is,” he said.
Gates open at 4:00 pm and admission is free.
