41-y-o man charged with raping 14-y-o girl in St Catherine

ST CATHERINE, Jamaica – A 41-year-old man from St Catherine was arrested and charged with several sexual offences, including rape, after he was accused of having sexual relations with a 14-year-old girl against her will.

The man, who is a technician of Cudjoes Hill, Point Hill, was arrested and charged with two counts of rape, two counts of sexual touching of a child and grievous sexual assault.

Reports are that on two separate occasions in 2022, the man allegedly had sexual relations with the child against her will. The matter was reported to the police and on Thursday, February 8, 2024, he was arrested and charged.

He is to appear before the St Catherine Parish Court on Friday, February 16.
