Jamaican named among fastest kids in the world
NEW YORK — A young girl from Jamaica has been named among the fastest kids in the world following her victory in the U8 (under-8) 60m race at the Millrose Games in New York over the weekend.
Bella Brown beat a field of nine other child athletes from across the world to take the win in a time of 8.66 seconds.
Surinamese runner Noah Brown claimed first place in the boy’s equivalent in 8.24 seconds.
