#Champs2024: Edwin Allen’s Terrelonge begins quest for Class 2 100m gold
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Edwin Allen High’s Thienna-Lee Terrelonge will look to add more gold to her silverware after comfortably advancing to the semi-final round of the Class 2 girls’ 100m, at the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys’ and Girls’ Athletics Championships.
Terrelonge leads the field with a time of 11.25 seconds.
The other automatic qualifiers are Sabrina Dockery of Lacovia High (11.90); Leigh-Ann Johnson of the Queen’s School (12.38); St Jago High’s Briana Campbell (11.94) and Bryana Davidson (12.10); Vere Technical’s Brianna Wilson (12.36); Shanoya Oliver of St Catherine High (12.40); Tacius Golding’s Olivia Smith (12.70); Holmwood Technical’s Regina Bailey (12.31); Immaculate Conception’s Shevi-Anne Shim (12.36); Tianna Rhoomes of St Mary High (12.42); Tianna Marshall of Wolmer’s Girls (12.25); Shaneca Smith of Manchester High (12.47) and Hydel High’s Shemonique Hazel (12.00).
Convent of Mercy Alpha’s Tashay Faulkner (12.41); Herbert Morrison’s Rassiann Roach (12.74) and Mikayla Gordon (12.75); Muschett High’s Tana-Shae Gooden (12.65); Shamoya Birthwright of Manchester High; Tashara Cawley of Aberdeen High (12.76); Edwin Allen’s Renecia Edwards (12.06); St Mary High’s Rickayla Bailey (12.58) and Shakira Rhoden of Excelsior High (12.78) have also advanced to the next round.
The Class 3 girls will grace the track for the semi-final of the 100m on Wednesday at 6:00 pm.
