#Champs2024: Lacovia’s Dockery quickest in Class 2 girls’ 100m semis
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Sabrina Dockery of Lacovia High registered the fastest time of 11.33 seconds in the semi-final round of the Class 2 girls’ 100m at the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys’ and Girls’ Athletics Championships.
Dockery won semi-final two ahead of Hydel High’s Shemonique Hazle (11.66).
Edwin Allen’s Theianna-Lee Terrelonge, the gold medal favourite, eased to a time of 11.55 to win semi-final three. Bryana Davidson of St Jago registered 11.67 to advance.
In the mix was Briana Campbell of St Jago, who won semi-final one in 11.43. Immaculate Conception’s Shevi-Anne Shim claimed the runner-up spot in 11.80.
Tiana Marshall of Wolmer’s Girls’ (11.76) and Renecia Edwards of Edwin Allen (11.89) round out the finalists.
The final of the Class 2 girls’ 100m is slated for Wednesday at 8:00 pm.
