#Champs2024: KC’s Pitter best in Class 3 boys’ 200m prelims
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Kingston College’s Jason Pitter clocked 22.65 seconds to top the qualifiers heading into Friday’s semi-final round of the Class 3 boys’ 200m at the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys’ and Girls’ Athletics Championships on Thursday morning.
The other athletes that occupied the top two spots in their respective heats are Calabar High’s Ched Brown (22.90); Edwin Allen’s Kalel Archibald (23.01) and Taheem Thompson (23.12); Mario Ross (22.95) and Deandre Myers (23.00) of Wolmer’s Boys; St Jago’s Andre Boyd (23.00); St Elizabeth Technical’s Jamanie Hylton (23.05); Eljay Smith (23.79) and Lynford McKenzie (23.58) of William Knibb; Rushaun Dunn of St George’s College (24.00); Kingston College’s Brandon Bennett (23.51); Jamaica College’s (JC) Oneil Lawrence (23.59); Cornwall College’s Anthony Drummond (23.46) and Holy Trinity’s Omarianho Gibson (23.67).
The other semi-finalists are JC’s Olando Anglin (23.68); Ajhani Wiggan of Manchester High (23.82); Denbigh High’s Rayvon Black (23.10); Old Harbour High’s Kemar Doyley (24.29); Omar Doeman of Ferncourt High (24.21); Calabar’s Kemarley Fletcher (24.04); and Rajaun Romelly (23.03) and Rayeem Solomon of St Elizabeth Technical (24.17),
The Class 3 boys will line up for the semi-finals at 1:18 pm on Friday.
