#Champs2024: Wolmerian Bell fastest in Class 3 girls’ 80mh prelims
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Wolmerian Akeelah Bell ran 11.33 seconds to register the quickest time in the preliminaries of the Class 3 girls’ 80m hurdles at the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys’ and Girls’ Athletics Championships on Friday.
Also securing their automatic spots were Jadea Harris of Wolmer’s Girls (11.71); Hydel’s Annieka Carnegie (11.42) and Trisaenia Cohen (11.60); Convent of Mercy Alpha’s Rajana Price (11:53); St Jago’s Adora Campbell (11.43); Kyra-Love Kelly of Immaculate Conception (11.88) and Edwin Allen’s Arihanna Brown (11.43).
Rounding out the semi-finalists are Jahzara Bygrave Camperdown High (11.32); Nailah Grant of St Andrew High (11.40); St Jago’s Taneca Whyte (11.64); Vere Technical’s Martina Moxam (11.81); St Catherine High’s Gabrilla Treasure (11.91); Tashika Thompson of Excelsior High (11.96); Dejaunae Morrisson of Clarendon College (12.03) and Holmwood Technical’s Maya Oakley (12.16).
The semi-finals of the Class 3 girls’ 80mh is set for Friday at 6:30 pm.
