Skillibeng hits multiple charts thanks to Tyla and Gunna collab

Jump, a song recorded by South African singer Tyla and which features American rapper Gunna and Jamaican dancehall artiste Skillibeng, has entered multiple charts.

The track debuts at #14 on Billboard’s Hot R&B Songs chart and at #6 on the US Afrobeats Songs chart.

Jump debuts at #1 on the UK Afrobeats Songs chart and at #80 on the Official UK Singles chart.

This is Skillibeng’s second entry on the Official UK Singles chart. In May 2021 Crocodile Teeth stalled at #74.

Jump is featured on the Grammy-winning Tyla’s self-titled debut album, which was released on March 22 via Fax/Epic Records. The album makes its presence felt on several European album charts as well as the Billboard US World Albums chart (#1), Billboard 200 (#24), UK Albums chart (#19), and #8 on Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.

Over on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart, after 220 non-consecutive weeks, Legend by Bob Marley and the Wailers continues to dominate the #1 spot, while Sean Paul’s
Dutty Classics Collection inches up to #2.

Best of Shaggy: The Boombastic Collection by Shaggy slips to #3, World on Fire by Stick Figure is steady at #4, while Greatest Hits by UB40 moves into the #5 position.

Set in Stone and Wisdom by Stick Figure are #6 and #7 respectively, while Exodus by Bob Marley and the Wailers rises to #8.

Damian “Jr Gong” Marley’s Welcome to Jamrock re-enters at #9, while Kaya, a 1978 release by Bob Marley and the Wailers jumps, back onto the chart at #10.

Kaya, the 10th studio album by the iconic reggae act, was released by Tuff Gong/Island Records. Its original version has 10 tracks, while the 2001 Definitive Remasters Edition has 11. A 2013 Deluxe edition has two discs and a total of 24 tracks.

Kaya peaked at #50 on both the Billboard 200 and R&B Albums chart in 1978. It also topped out at #4 in the UK, and made the top 10 in Australia, New Zealand and Norway.

It has been certified gold in the US, UK and Germany, while racking up 2x platinum certification in France and platinum in Australia.

YG Marley’s Praise Jah in the Moonlight is on its way down on several charts but on the US rhythmic charts, it continues its upward trajectory.

The song slips from #62 to #67 on the Billboard Hot 100, after peaking at #34. Over on the Official UK Singles chart the song tumbles from #39 to #52 in its ninth week on the chart. It peaked at #5.

Praise Jah in the Moonlight rises from #46 to #44 on Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay, but it fares better on Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay stepping up from #35 to #31.

On regional charts, Tun Up by Ginjah spends a second week at #1 on the South Florida Reggae chart, while Phyllis Dillon Tribute by Da Flame is #1 on the Foundation Radio Network (New York) Reggae chart.

Stir This Thing by Ammoye featuring Turbulence is #1 on the Rebel Vibez Top 10 Canadian Reggae chart.
