Teejay drifts in Dream Weekend line-up
Uptop Boss Teejay joins the star-studded line-up for Dream Weekend’s 15th anniversary staging.
The artiste is the latest confirmed act for the event and will bring the curtains down at Igloo on Independence Day.
With his recently released album, I Am Chippy, Teejay is set to deliver an exceptional performance, delving into his portfolio of hit songs that have gained him major international recognition.
This performance will serve as a homecoming for the rags to riches artiste, as he is no stranger to being on the Dream Weekend Igloo stage, having done the same back in 2019.
“For 15 years Dream Weekend has been the one event that Jamaicans and lovers of our culture flock towards for their annual summer getaway. With each staging we ensure to improve on our offerings so that our Dreamers have something new and exciting to look forward to. Teejay is a seasoned Dream artiste who has the right energy and vibe that we’re looking for to give Dreamers a great final night experience,” shares Ron Burke, Dream Weekend festival director.
For five days partygoers will descend on the Negril hip strip in droves, where they will encounter pulsating music from some of the best DJs across Jamaica.
Alongside Teejay, dancehall sensations Jada Kingdom, Aidonia, Tommy Lee, and Mr Vegas are also booked to dominate the weekend that never sleeps at separate events across the Emancipendence stretch.
Burke continued: “In true Dream fashion, and this being our 15th anniversary, our patrons can expect a plethora of surprises that will add to the already impressive package, leaving a lasting impression on their experience. It goes without saying that this upcoming staging will be our best yet, and I know our Dreamers will absolutely love and enjoy all that we have to offer.”
Dream Weekend 2024 is scheduled to run from August 2-6, 2024 and will feature the following events: Twisted Spiritz, Daydreams, YUSH, Wet ‘N Wild, World Vibes, Celebrity Playground, Xodus Remedy, and Igloo. All eight events will take place along Norman Manley Boulevard.
