Kulcha Doc climbs ‘Holy Mountain’ rhythm
Reggae artiste Kulcha Doc is pushing his latest rhythm project, the Holy Mountain, which is available on iTunes and other digital platforms through his East Vibration Records label.
“The reception has been very good so far, so I just continue to put in the work. These days, I depend on my social media platforms and am getting very good traction on songs such as my latest release, Parables, and Holy Mountain, the title track for the Holy Mountain rhythm project,” the artiste-producer whose real name is Ernie Anthony Lowe said.
The project, which is distributed by Music Embassy, was released on July 12 2024 featuring Natty King, Turbulence, Craig Ed East, Money Pallet, Pasco Suhfar, and I Lue.
“We will be shooting a video for my title track on the Holy Mountain rhythm this summer,” Kulcha Doc said.
After the summer period, he intends to release another one drop project called Honeycomb.
Kulcha Doc grew up in a district called Bamboo River in Morant Bay, St Thomas. He came from a musical family as his father was a talented bass guitarist. During his teens, he fell in love with music as he used to hone his skills on the Love Connection sound system which hailed from his district.
He later migrated to live in the United States to take care of personal commitments on the USA Naval Station. He has continued between Jamaica and the US since that time.
Even though he is an artiste in his own right, he has always felt the pull of production and creating projects for other artistes.
He respects the musical output of producers such as Stephen ‘Di Genius’ McGregor, Lloyd ‘King Jammy’ James, Dave Kelly and Donavan Germaine.
“I would love for my music to reach a wide audience out there in Europe, Asia, South and North America and also the entire Caribbean. I make music from the soul and I know that people will be able to relate to it, whatever their religion or ethnic background,” he said.
East Vibration Records is known for projects such as the Mind Game and the New Stock rhythm.
