Vybz Kartel releases new song ‘The Comet’
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Dancehall superstar Vybz Kartel has dropped his first single since his release from prison.
The song, The Comet, was produced by his own record label Vybz Kartel Muzik.
The official video for the song premiered moments ago on Youtube.
Kartel, is set to make his return to the stage in a historic concert called “Freedom Street” on December 31, 2024 at the National Stadium in Jamaica.
It will be the artiste’s first live performance in more than 13 years.
Kartel, whose real name is Adidja Palmer, was released from the Tower Street Adult Correctional Facility on July 31 after the Court of Appeal ruled against retrying him and his three co-accused for murder, after their previous conviction was quashed by the Privy Council in the United Kingdom.
