Arnaldo Martin: The collaborative force behind Red Stripe’s brand execution
IN the fast-paced world of brand management, execution is where great ideas come to life — and that’s where Arnaldo Martin shines. As junior brand manager for Red Stripe and Dragon, Martin plays a pivotal supporting role, ensuring that strategic visions are transformed into seamless, impactful outcomes.
Hailing from Oracabessa, St Mary, Martin’s journey is defined by resilience and a strong work ethic. At St Mary High School, he balanced academics with a love for sports, building the discipline and teamwork skills that have carried him throughout his career. After earning a degree in marketing and economics from The University of the West Indies, Martin began his professional journey as a marketing & communications coordinator, setting the stage for his growth into one of Red Stripe’s most dependable team members.
“I focus on doing the best with what’s in front of me,” he explained. That focus has made him a key collaborator at Red Stripe, where he supports the brand management team by executing campaigns with precision and championing ideas that elevate the work of the entire team. Known for his creativity and collaborative spirit, Martin fosters an environment where colleagues feel inspired to bring their best ideas forward.
His approach to teamwork is deeply rooted in his values and life experiences. A former athlete in football, cricket, and tennis, Martin draws from his days on the field to emphasise the importance of communication and shared effort.
“Everyone has a role to play, and when we all do our part, the results speak for themselves,” he said.
Though he doesn’t lead a team directly in the organisation structure, Martin’s influence is undeniable. He has a number of specialised teams formed for special projects that call for his leadership capabilities to drive effective outcomes. His ability to bring fresh ideas to the table and execute with excellence has earned him the respect of his peers, who last year voted him “Most Likely to Be the Boss” at a staff retreat — a light-hearted nod to his knack for inspiring those around him.
Martin’s humility and focus on execution have also made him a standout during challenging times. During the pandemic, his resilience and commitment extended beyond work, as he supported his family through difficult circumstances, embodying the reliability and strength he brings to his role every day.
At 30, Martin continues to make a meaningful impact at Red Stripe. Recognised at the company’s Stand-Up Awards 2024 for exemplifying the core behaviour of Playing to Win and Celebrating Success, he credits his achievements to consistency and hard work rather than grand gestures.
“I’m proud of where I’ve gotten by staying true to myself and putting in the effort every step of the way,” he reflected.
For Arnaldo Martin, success is about being a strong, dependable teammate who ensures the team’s vision comes to life. In a world that often prioritises flash over substance, he stands out as a steady force, quietly but powerfully contributing to Red Stripe’s enduring success.
